Kinsley has one friend, a beautiful Latina tagger named Isabella, who instantly befriended him when she first started high school. Kinsley’s parents start trying to pressure him into getting a girlfriend, and when he finds a girl that he at least thinks is pretty, Isabella encourages him to write her a letter, and Kinsley decides to deliver it into her locker for her to receive.
However what Kinsley didn’t expect was the fact that the locker didn’t belong to who he originally thought it did. The recipient of the letter is captain of his own sports team, the very straight captain.
However, he’s never really had any friends despite his status and popularity, and hides behind his fake smile to disguise his sad home life. Having no one to talk to about anything was weighing in on him, until one day he opened his locker and discovered a mysterious letter.
The two juniors in high school unknowingly exchange letters, both using pen names; and start to develop feelings for each other. But what happens when they find out who they’ve been talking to wasn’t a girl, but another guy all along?
